What makes a giant comparison reliable?
Argentinosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Tyrannosaurus represent different large-bodied dinosaur branches. This is a selected collection, not a ranked list of the largest animals or a complete size census.
Sauropod size estimates may rely on incomplete vertebrae or limbs. Compare a particular specimen and reconstruction method, not a press-release maximum against another genus’s average. Body length and mass are different measures and can produce different rankings.
The included field notes identify which numerical fields are supported and which remain unfilled. The comparison is useful even when a defensible exact number is unavailable.
